ACHIOTE has a diverse nutritional and natural plant chemical profile which includes strongly antioxidant, mixed alpha, beta and apoco carotenoids and anti-mutagenic (most notable are bixin, norbixin and tocotrienol), terpenes and terpenoids, a variety of natural phyto-acids including folic, amino, ellagic, tomentosic and salicylic acids, sterols and flavonoids, probiotics and fructo oligo saccharides (referred to as FOS), digestive enzymes, probiotics, glycosaminoglycans, aliphatic aromatic compounds, inulin, geraniin, minerals including calcium, iron, phosphorous, Vitamins B2, B3, C and E, beta-carotene, cyanidins, essential oils, hydroquinone’s, saponins, tannins, tryptophan, lysine, and high protein and fiber content.

CAUTIONS

Cautioned for pets diagnosed with hyperkalemia (rare) and hypoglycemia as It might raise blood sugar levels and may potentiate medications used to treat hypertension.
